Morihito Otogi is a high schooler carrying ogre blood, and his childhood friend Nico has just returned from witch training. An old pact forces them to live together, but Morihito has a deeper reason for it: he is her familiar, sworn to shield her from a disaster that has been prophesied to strike her soon. Nico throws herself into housework and spells, thrilled to be near him again, but her uncontrolled magic sparks one runaway catastrophe after another. What starts as slapstick slowly reveals a tender, bittersweet story of a boy guarding the girl he cannot admit he loves.
