Volume 15 makes the set of Fifteen Years of Lies itself a machine of revenge and blood. Inside a script that restages Ai’s life, Aqua plays Hikaru Kamiki and Ruby plays their mother; brother and sister are ordered to kiss as lovers. Performance becomes ritual—walking Ai’s past with their bodies—while “Hoshino Aqua” and someone else’s rebirth grind against each other. Flashbacks accelerate Ai and Hikaru from first meeting into intimacy, stacking pure romance over the deals running backstage. On set Kana is spun by her feelings for Aqua; Akane tries to read his hollowness through both observation and craft. The sharper B-Komachi’s arc and the film’s polish grow, the blurrier the line between spectator and accomplice. Ai’s lie still won’t show its full shape, but the name Hikaru slides into the crosshairs and the blade’s direction locks in. Volume 15 withholds catharsis, traps sibling bodies, a mother’s memory, and the fan’s gaze on one soundstage, and maxes out the claustrophobia just before the final arc.
