Having learned part of the truth his brother Itachi carried, Sasuke sets himself on a new path. Out of shared interest he allies with Akatsuki and sets out to capture the Tailed Beasts. The boy who was once a comrade is transforming into someone who bares his fangs at the village. Around the same time, word of Jiraiya's death reaches Konoha from the mouth of the Sage Toad.
