Still raw from losing his mother to a parasite, Shinichi returns to school life alongside Migi. A transfer student named Hideo Shimada turns out to be a parasite too. He claims he has no wish to fight and only wants to live quietly as a human, yet in secret he keeps feeding on people. A classmate, the girl Yuko, stumbles onto just how wrong Shimada is. As a predator hidden right beside everyday life collides with the terror of someone who has seen the truth, Shinichi is dragged back into the fighting whether he likes it or not.
