The centerpiece here is the direct clash between Hou Ken and the Hi Shin Unit. With the line collapsed after the night raid, Hou Ken cuts down soldier after soldier with overwhelming force. Shin and Kyou Kai cling on desperately to buy their comrades time, but even the two of them together can barely scratch him, driving home that his strength exists on another plane. For the first time Shin truly feels the height where genuine great generals like Ou Ki and Hou Ken stand.
