The wizard Babidi is scheming to revive Majin Buu, an ancient horror that once brought the universe to the edge of annihilation. The key to that revival is raw destructive energy. To stop the plot, Goku, Vegeta and Gohan board Babidi's spaceship, only to face a gauntlet of assassins waiting inside. Then Babidi senses Vegeta's hunger for battle and turns it into a weapon: the proud Saiyan prince is swallowed by dark magic and turns his fists on Goku.
