The training meet's judging enters its climax. After the opening result from Zenmai, the whole hall begins to sense just how severe the standards are. Kaichi takes the stage next and, though feared to clash with the judges' tastes, holds fast to his own convictions. Then Hikaru pours every weapon she has into her rematch against Akane. As the rivals' fervent sets end one after another, Akane finally steps up, and through the story "Kawari-me" what she must truly confront quietly comes into view.
