Tagging along with her senior Kyoji on a gig at a nursing home, Akane gets her first real chance to open for others in front of an audience. What does it truly mean to tell rakugo that makes people happy? Feeling her way forward, the answer she reaches begins to shape the outline of her own art. Around the same time she learns of the Karaku Cup, a rakugo contest for students, and that its head judge will be none other than her father's nemesis, Issho. Desperate to compete, Akane is handed a condition by her master Shiguma.
